History

The Food Safety Consortium (FSC) is part of Santia Consulting Ltd owned by BECAP, the UK based private equity investment vehicle for Better Capital Limited, a London Stock Exchange quoted company.
FSC has a unique level of specialist Food Safety knowledge and experience in the Global Food Sector, unrivalled by its competitors and generated by an exclusive 20 year business relationship with Marks & Spencer plc.

Scope

FSC deliver excellence in the provision of Food Safety Auditing, Consultancy and Training, an exclusive service to M&S and their Global Supply Chain.This has been recently reinforced by the joint development of M&S CommuniTech, a web based information portal that manages M&S Global Supplier Audit and Quality Management Information, this has created a “one stop shop” for the M&S Global Supply Chain to obtain up to date information to manage their M&S Food Safety relationship.

People

Our people are our greatest asset and FSC staff are no exception to this rule, most FSC staff have been senior managers in “Blue Chip” UK food manufacturers and have obtained their expertise in “hands on” roles in the Technical, Quality Assurance or New Product Development Departments dealing with Major UK Retailers. Our staff specialise in knowing the requirements of Marks & Spencer and have all been individually approved following a unique and rigorous endorsement process ratified by M&S.
